Who we are

Avramania is run by Roi Avram, based in Israel. Roi Avram is responsible for the personal data described here (the "controller", in GDPR terms). Contact: contact@avramania.com.

The short version

• There are no accounts. The only things you can fill in are the contact form and the Maniatopia update list.
• We use Google Analytics only if you accept it in the cookie banner. Otherwise no cookies are set.
• We don't sell or share your data, and there are no ads on this website.

What we collect and why

Server logs. Like every website, the company that hosts this site automatically records technical details of each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure, and the host deletes them after a limited period. Basis under GDPR: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site.

Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or write to contact@avramania.com, we keep your name (if you give it), your email address and your message so we can reply and follow up. We delete them when they're no longer needed, or sooner if you ask. Basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Game update emails. If you ask to hear about Maniatopia, we keep your email address only to send you those updates. If that address unsubscribed earlier, we don't switch updates back on straight away: we email it a link first, and only that link turns them back on. Every update includes a way to stop them, or you can just email us. Basis: your consent.

Analytics and cookies

If you tap Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics then sets cookies named _ga and _ga_…, which last up to 2 years, and sends Google details such as the pages you view, your device and browser type, and your rough location (country or city). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Advertising features are switched off.

If you tap Decline, or don't choose, the Google Analytics script is not loaded at all and no cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. We store that one choice in your browser so we don't ask on every page.

Google processes this data in the United States under its own terms and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services. Basis: your consent.

Who else sees it

Only the services that make the site work: our website host, Google (for analytics, only if you accept), our email provider for messages you send, and Resend, which delivers the contact form and the update emails and keeps the Maniatopia update list. Resend is based in the United States and stores this data there under its own data processing terms. We don't sell, rent or trade personal data.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct it if it's wrong
• delete it
• stop using it, or withdraw consent you gave earlier

Email contact@avramania.com and we'll answer within 30 days. These rights come from Israel's Privacy Protection Law and, if you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR. You can also complain to Israel's Privacy Protection Authority, or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Children

This website is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If what we collect changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
